In late June, Teresa and I went to visit the famous Edo Village, which is a re-creation of the city of Edo, in 17th century Japan. Edo later became Tokyo, and it was fun to see how life was for the Japanese citizens in the early 1600's. It was a bit rainy that day, but we had fun, and I got to participate in a Japanese play as a Shogun. In the video, I'm on the far right, eating, drinking and watching the fight over me, as my Geisha defends me.

"The Kid" - 1967-1977

Using some footage that my father and mother took of me from the time I was born until I was about 10 years old, I made a small video of myself....enjoy!

In Memory of Sisko

This is a video I made in memory of our sweet and wonderful dog Sisko. He passed away in April, after blessing us with his presence for the past 12 years. He truly was a joy to have around, and he enriched our lives so much. He was always a popular boy, and everyone who met him always commented on what a wonderful, friendly, good looking boy he was. He was gentle, fun, playful, and a good friend. He is sorely missed.

HAWAII TRIP 2008

In August of 2008, I was asked by the Pacific Command to travel to South Dakota to inspect a new facility there. Afterwards I gave a briefing at the Pacific Command located at Hickam AFB, Hawaii. I took a few days off afterwards before returning to Japan. Unfortunately, Teresa was not able to meet me in Hawaii, but I still tried to see some sights and do some new things. I got to ride a Segway, journeyed to the bottom of the ocean in an Atlantis Submarine, toured the Battleship Missouri, and played in the tropical ocean.

This video is of our vacation to Paris in the fall of 2006. We flew in from Tokyo to Germany first, then on to France. We stayed at a hotel not too far from the Eiffel Tower, and then toured around Paris and the countryside. The sights and food were all great. We had a good time, and it was well worth the trip.

LYNNTRIP 2008

I made this video to highlight the time our good friend Lynn came out to visit us in April of 2008. She got here just in time for winter to break, and the Cherry Blossoms to come into full bloom. We visited a number of places around the Kanto Plains, which is the large valley where Tokyo sits. We toured the Shiratsu Waterfalls, an ancient village near Mt. Fuji, Showa Kenan Park, Mout Takao, Akihabara, Asakusa and of course the Imperial Gardens.
